Working at Deckwise

our story

Deckwise originated from a very simple observation: many people obviously have a lot of ideas, but in the process of organizing the ideas into a deck, they are often interrupted too early by typesetting, decoration and repeated adjustments.

We believe that presentation software should be more like a collaborator who understands your intent, rather than a blank canvas that requires you to manually place all the elements. Our work intersects between writing, design systems, and AI Agent that can iterate with you.

If you care about product taste, learn quickly, and want to help more people express their ideas more clearly, we would like to meet you.

Perks & benefits

Deckwise hopes to provide competitive, inclusive and truly useful benefits so that people from all backgrounds can join the team in a healthy and stable manner. We are still in the early stages, and benefits will continue to iterate based on team size, regional distribution, and member needs; but the principles are clear: basic guarantees must be reliable, working methods must be flexible, and growth and quality of life should also be taken seriously.

Medical and commercial insurance

Provide full-time members with competitive medical care, commercial insurance and basic health support, covering daily medical visits, major risks and necessary health consultations. We will continue to adjust our plans based on the actual conditions in different regions to provide you and your family with greater peace of mind.

Flexible holidays

We want you to actually take a break, not just write it into the system. The team adopts a flexible holiday system and respects public holiday arrangements in different regions; as long as the collaboration rhythm is communicated in advance, you can arrange recovery, travel and personal matters more freely.

Physical and mental health support

Provide a budget for mental health, coaching consulting, or related services to help team members deal with stress, career stage changes, and long-term focus issues. We hope that everyone can work in a stable and sustainable state instead of relying on short-term overdrafts to advance projects.

Family and parenting support

Support new parents to get sufficient time during important stages, including flexible arrangements for maternity leave, paternity leave and return period. The team will try to make meetings, delivery and collaboration rhythms more flexible, reducing hard conflicts between family care and work responsibilities.

Office Equipment Budget

Provide a budget for computers, monitors, keyboards, chairs, cameras, and other remote working equipment to set up the basic experience first. We care about whether the tools are really comfortable and encourage you to build a space suitable for your long-term work.

Learning and Growth Budget

Support courses, books, conferences, workshops and tool subscriptions to help you continuously improve your product, engineering, design or business capabilities. We encourage everyone to bring what they have learned back to the team and turn it into common capabilities through sharing, review and internal practice.

Commuting and team catering

Provide reasonable commuting, office, team catering and activity support when collaborating offline in Shenzhen or the Bay Area. Being remote-first doesn’t mean there’s a lack of connectivity; we use our offline time to discuss complex issues, build trust, and celebrate stage results together.

Flexible monthly subsidy

Offer a flexible monthly stipend for the services or tools you think will most improve your work status and quality of life, such as fitness, networking, collaboration software, childcare, commuting or other personal support. We care more about whether it actually helps you work better.
